
Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, received today (Tuesday) Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, and his accompanying delegation, upon their arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the work of the nineteenth regular meeting of the heads of the Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which is hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain during the period from 11 to 13 November.
During the reception, the Speakers of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives welcomed the Speaker of the Omani Shura Council and the accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of the fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, in light of the support and interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, and his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, may God protect and protect them.
For his part, Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al-Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality, praising the Kingdom of Bahrain’s great interest in strengthening joint Gulf action, and its distinguished efforts in hosting Gulf parliamentary meetings.
