The conclusion of the 29th Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Junior Tennis Championship on Tuesday evening

The 29th Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Junior Tennis Championship, organized by the Bahrain Tennis Club under the sponsorship and support of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), will conclude on Tuesday evening, November 11, with the final being held on the club’s main courts in Juffair at six-thirty in the evening, under the patronage of Mr. Yasser Al Sharifi, CEO of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Group.

This event is the conclusion of a series of exciting competitions that the tournament witnessed over the past days, with wide participation from more than 260 male and female players of various ages and categories.

The twenty-ninth edition was also characterized by a high technical level and the remarkable participation of young men and women who demonstrated promising skills that reflect the development of the game of tennis in the Kingdom.

After the final match, the final coronation ceremony will be held, which will witness the honoring of the champions of the tournament in the various categories, in addition to honoring the champions of the accompanying festival, which was designated for the small age groups under 8 and under 10 years, in a festive atmosphere that combines a sporting character and a family spirit, in the presence of prominent sports and media figures, parents and guests of the tournament.

The tournament’s organizing committee, headed by Mr. Khalid Mohammed Abdul Qayyum, confirmed that all preparations for the final match and the closing ceremony have been completed, noting that the committee worked to prepare an elegant ceremony program that reflects the status of the tournament and its historical partnership with the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Khaled Al-Khalfan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tennis Club, expressed his great pride in the generous sponsorship from the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, stressing that the bank’s continued support of this tournament for the twenty-ninth year in a row reflects the leading banking institution’s belief in the importance of its societal role in supporting Bahraini sports, especially in the junior category, which represents the future base of the game of tennis.

Al-Khalfan said: “The Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Championship has become a milestone in the calendar of local tennis tournaments, due to its elaborate organization, high level of competition, and great demand from players and fans, as well as being a successful model of sustainable partnership between the sports and banking sectors.”

He added that the club is proud of the historical relationship that links it with the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, noting that this tournament was and continues to be a platform for discovering talents, refining capabilities, and developing the new generation of tennis players, male and female, in the Kingdom.
