Today, Tuesday, Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, inspected a number of electoral committee headquarters on the second day of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, to follow up on the progress of the electoral process and ensure the regularity of work within the committees amid an atmosphere of calm and discipline.
The tour included the headquarters of the Electoral Committee at the Qena Model Al-Azhar Institute and the electoral headquarters at Al-Humaidat School in the city of Qena. He was also accompanied during the tour by a number of executive leaders.

During his tour, the governor was keen to follow up on the procedures for securing electoral headquarters and facilitating the entry and exit of voters, directing the need to provide all forms of support and facilities to citizens, especially the elderly and people of determination, to ensure their participation easily and smoothly, stressing that positive participation is a constitutional right and a national duty for everyone.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim also followed the presence of committee heads, supervisors and judges inside the headquarters, praising the good organization and fruitful cooperation between the various concerned parties, including the insurance forces and workers in the local, educational and health administrations, which reflects the spirit of responsibility and concern for the success of the electoral process.
The Governor of Qena confirmed that the main operations room in the governorate’s general office is working around the clock to follow the electoral situation moment by moment in coordination with the sub-rooms in the centers and cities and the Supreme Elections Committee to monitor any observations and deal with them immediately to ensure the smooth flow of the electoral process in all committees.
The governor praised the increasing turnout of citizens at the ballot boxes during the second day, appreciating the awareness of the people of Qena and their keenness to actively participate in choosing those who represent them under the dome of Parliament, which reflects their national affiliation and their awareness of the importance of participation in supporting the process of democracy and development.
At the end of his tour, Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim thanked the policemen and all the executive agencies involved in organizing and securing, stressing that this exemplary cooperation embodies the state’s keenness for the elections to emerge in the best possible way that reflects the stability of the nation and the strength of its institutions.
