The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank concluded the sixth edition of the “Mobile Branch for Housing Finance” initiative, which witnessed a distinguished turnout and interaction from citizens over a period of five days in the “Marassi Galleria” complex.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning confirmed its keenness to continue organizing this initiative in the various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain according to a specific timetable, which contributes to expanding the scope of beneficiaries of the funds. She added that the seventh edition of the initiative is scheduled to be held at Seef Mall in the Capital Governorate at the beginning of next December.
The Ministry explained that the mobile branch initiative witnessed a wide attendance of citizens to learn about the immediate services that contribute to meeting their housing needs, as representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank provided financial consultations to citizens and informed them directly of the provisions and standards of housing financing.
The Ministry indicated that the initiative provided all consultations on various financing programs, including the “Ambition” program, which is one of the additional financing options recently launched by the Ministry, as it allows beneficiaries of “Tas’heel” and “Tas’heel+” financing, in addition to previous beneficiaries of purchase financing for the purpose of owning an apartment, the possibility of obtaining additional government-supported financing worth 20,000 Bahraini dinars to move to a larger property, in addition to the digital services developed through the “Bayti” real estate platform.
During the initiative, an interactive digital screen was also provided that allows citizens to experience electronic services that display thousands of properties compatible with the “Tas’heel+” and “Tas’heel” programs of various types, in addition to the new category of the “Mazaya” program, which includes residential units, vouchers, and apartments distributed across all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The platform also included new features, most notably: tracking the application status, booking residential property electronically, and the “digital real estate valuation” feature.
It is worth noting that the mobile branch initiative comes as an extension of a series of initiatives aimed at continuing to enhance citizens’ awareness of housing services and facilitating their benefit from them, as a number of versions were previously organized in the Enma Mall, City Center Bahrain, The Avenues Mall, Ramli Mall, and the Country Mall, in addition to the Innovation Conference and Exhibition in the Social Housing Sector, in addition to events and lectures held in cooperation with government and private agencies.
