The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) announced the promotion of a number of its Bahraini women cadres to senior leadership positions, as an extension of its commitment to developing national competencies and promoting professional excellence, as Ms. Fatima Al Wardi was appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Miss Fatima Al Zayed Al Jalahma to the position of Registrar General.
On this occasion, Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution, expressed pride in the excellence achieved by the female cadres in the Bahrain Chamber that contributed to them assuming leadership positions, which at the same time reflects the Chamber’s commitment to empowering national competencies and promoting the principle of equal opportunities in leadership positions.
Adding that the announcement of the promotions supports the ongoing efforts to build a competent and inspiring leadership team capable of achieving the Chamber’s vision and enhancing Bahrain’s position as a leading regional center in developing the alternative means of dispute resolution industry.
For her part, Professor Marika Patrani Paulson, Vice-Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Trustees, explained that the excellence of women’s cadres in the Chamber is a matter of pride, noting that every stage of career development is a new beginning that opens broader horizons for learning and provides renewed opportunities to expand perceptions, develop leadership skills, and hone expertise in a way that enhances their contribution more effectively to achieving the Chamber’s goals at all levels.
For his part, Ahmed Hussein, CEO of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution, stressed the continuation of strategic investment in Bahraini competencies and capacity development, noting the high efficiency, dedication and pursuit of learning of the women cadres who were promoted, and effective initiatives and excellence in various projects and achieving the desired results. He wished Mrs. Fatima Al Wardi, Chief Operating Officer, and Miss Fatima Al Zayed Al Jalahma, Registrar General, success and success in their new work tasks.
