A medical source said in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that all medical teams at Ras Ghareb Central Hospital are working to provide all aspects of health care and necessary aid to those injured in a tourist bus collision with a heavy transport vehicle, noting that the injuries are between moderate to serious and are being dealt with, explaining that a number of the injured will be sent to Hurghada hospitals.
The total number of people injured in the accident
It turned out that the total number of infected people was 39, including 36 tourists of different nationalities as follows, 27 Russians, in addition to 2 from Lithuania, 7 from Finland, as well as 3 Egyptians infected (2 drivers, a tour guide).
A large number of ambulances were dispatched to the site of the accident, at Kilometer 5 of Ras Ghareb Hurghada Road, and the state of emergency was lifted at Ras Ghareb Central Hospital, which received the injured.
While a foreigner was killed in addition to another person, the two bodies were transferred to Ras Ghareb Central Hospital at the disposal of the investigation authorities.
The necessary report on the incident was prepared and the competent authorities were notified to initiate investigations and determine the cause of the accident.
