Today, Tuesday, the Second Circuit of Terrorism, held in Badr, is examining the trial session of 8 defendants in Case No. 18600 of 2024, the first felonies of Nasr City, in the Nasr City ISIS cell.

The referral order revealed that, during the year 2019, and until October 26, 2023, the first accused assumed the leadership of a group that embraced ISIS ideas, which was established in contravention of the provisions of the law and prevented state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, by adopting ISIS terrorist ideas.
The second through seventh defendants were charged with joining a terrorist group while knowing its purposes, while the first and eighth defendants were charged with financing terrorism. The financing was for a terrorist group and terrorists, as the first defendant provided files to educate the group about terrorist ideas and provided headquarters to hold their organizational meetings.
On the other hand, the Second Circuit of Terrorism, held in Badr, postponed the trial of 23 defendants in the Nasr City Specific Committees case, in Case No. 18739 of 2024, to the January 26 session.

The referral order revealed that, during the period from 2020 until September 21, 2021, the first and second defendants assumed leadership in a terrorist group that used force, violence, threats, and intimidation internally, for the purpose of disrupting public order, endangering the safety, interests, and security of society, harming individuals, terrorizing them, and endangering their lives, freedoms, public and private rights, and security, as well as other freedoms and rights guaranteed by the Constitution and the law, and harming national unity and social peace. And national security, causing damage to public and private buildings and property, preventing and obstructing public authorities and government interests from doing their work, resisting them, and disrupting the implementation of the provisions of the Constitution, laws and regulations, by assuming leadership of the Brotherhood that aims to change the system of government by force.
