The French coach approached Zinedine Zidane The former coach of Real Madrid, from returning to his work as technical director.
Reliable Italian journalist Varisio Romano reported that Zinedine Zidane, when asked about training a new team, said: “It will happen soon, very soon.”
Zidane has so far ignored many training offers, confirming that the choice will come when he sees the project as completely suitable for his aspirations and goals.
It is noteworthy that Frenchman Zinedine Zidane expressed his desire to return again to the field of training, indicating that his greatest goal is to take over the leadership of the French national team one day.
Zidane said during his statements at the Festival dello Sport: “I definitely plan to return to training, and my desire is to become a coach for the French national team in the future.”
The French legend added: “Ancelotti was my coach first, then I became his assistant. He is a close friend, and he played an important role in my coaching career. He was a good coach who always listened to the players.”
Regarding the possibility of him coaching Juventus, Zidane said: “I don’t know why that didn’t happen, but Juventus is always in my heart because it gave me a lot. I don’t know what will happen in the future, but one of my clear goals is to coach the French national team.”
His career with Real Madrid
It is noteworthy that Zidane, who is 54 years old, coached Real Madrid for two periods, during which he won 11 titles with the team, most notably three consecutive Champions League championships.
Since his departure from coaching Real Madrid in 2021, Zidane has not led any other team, despite his name being linked to a number of major clubs that have expressed their desire to sign him.
