The Rescue Operations Room received a report indicating that a microbus had overturned on the Army Road towards Assiut, and immediately the trustworthy agencies, supported by a number of ambulances, moved to the location of the report.
Upon transfer and examination, it was revealed that an accident occurred, injuring 10 people in a microbus overturning accident on the Army Road towards Assiut, and the injured were transferred to Sadr Al-Minya Hospital.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
Earlier, the Faqus-Abu Shalabi road in Sharkia Governorate witnessed a horrific collision a short while ago between a microbus and another private car at the top of the Sahara Bridge, which resulted in the death of the private driver on the spot.
Major General Amr Raouf, Director of Sharkia Security, received a notification stating that a collision had occurred between a microbus and a private car at the top of the Sahara Bridge on the Faqous – Abu Shalabi road.
Immediately, the security services and civil protection forces moved to the site of the accident, and an ambulance was dispatched to transport the body to the hospital and remove the effects of the accident.
The security services are intensifying their efforts to determine the circumstances of the incident and find out the causes of the collision, while the two cars that caused the accident have been seized and the necessary report on the incident has been prepared.
