The engineering team signed Kamel Al-WazirDeputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, and Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today, Monday, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of exchanging expertise in roads between the Ministry of Transport of the Arab Republic of Egypt, represented by the Egyptian National Institute of Transport, and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Authority for Saudi Roads, within the framework of the distinguished and historical Egyptian-Saudi relations.
A new Egyptian-Saudi partnership to develop the transportation system and road infrastructure
This came on the sidelines of the activities of the sixth session of the TransMEA Smart Transport, Logistics and Industry Exhibition and Conference, which is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport explained that maximizing Egyptian-Saudi relations and opening new arteries for them in light of the challenges surrounding our region is a success, within the framework of the insightful vision of the political leadership in the two countries, which follows a clear principle, which is that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are always together.
The Minister stressed that this partnership reflects the commitment of the two countries to strengthening the transportation system, exchanging experiences, developing human resources, and scientific research in the fields of roads, which constitutes a strong opportunity to exchange experiences between the two countries and opens horizons for cooperation and joint development in the fields of scientific research, training, and refining the technical skills of specialists.
