The Egyptian Basketball Federation, headed by Amr Moselhy, announced the date of the final round matches of the Women’s Basketball League Championship, for which Al-Ahly, Sporting, Smouha, and Al-Gezira teams qualified.
The Basketball Association reveals the final dates for women
According to the Basketball Association, the final round matches are scheduled to be held in a home-and-return system, with the first-leg matches being held on Tuesday, November 11, while the return matches will be held on Thursday, November 13.
In the first-leg matches, Al-Jazira will meet with Smouha to determine third and fourth places, while Al-Ahly will face its counterpart Sporting in the tournament final, with the matches being held at the “Zewail” Youth and Sports Hall in October.
It is expected that the linked match between Al-Ahly and Sporting will be held at five-thirty, followed by the women’s match at eight in the evening, preceded by the linked and women’s matches between Al-Jazira and Smouha to determine third and fourth places at one and three in the afternoon, respectively.
Al-Ahly succeeded in qualifying for the final round of the Women’s Basketball League, after defeating Smouha in the semi-finals, while Sporting qualified at the expense of Al-Jazira by defeating them in the aggregate of the two-legged matches in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The matches of the preliminary round of the Super League Championship are determined through the linked league championship, based on the ranking of the participating teams.
It is expected that the matches of the Associated League will be broadcast live, through the Basketball Association channel on the YouTube video site.
