The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution promotes two women from its staff to leadership positions

The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) announced the promotion of two Bahraini women to senior leadership positions, as Mrs. Fatima Al Wardi was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Miss Fatima Al Zayed Al Jalahma to the position of Registrar General, in a way that strengthens the Chamber’s commitment to developing Bahraini national competencies and promoting professional excellence.

Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution, said in a statement on this occasion: “We feel proud to see our fellow Bahraini women assuming leadership positions, which reflects the Chamber’s commitment to empowering national competencies and promoting gender diversity in leadership positions. This achievement also supports our ongoing efforts to build a competent and inspiring leadership team capable of achieving the Chamber’s vision and enhancing Bahrain’s position as a leading regional center in developing the alternative means of dispute resolution industry.”

For her part, Professor Marieke Patrani Paulsson, Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees, said: “For both of them, this is just the beginning. I look forward to their leadership.” As for Mr. Tom Sikora, a member of the Board of Trustees, he said on behalf of the rest of the Board members: “We are very excited to promote Al-Wardi to the position of Chief Operating Officer, and Ms. Al-Zayed Al-Jalahma to the position of Chief Registrar. We are pleased to recognize the exceptional talent and tremendous dedication of these two colleagues, and we look forward to the great contributions they will make in the field of Dispute settlement.”

In addition, Ahmed Hussein, CEO of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution, said: “This round of promotions reflects our strategic investment in Bahraini talent, and we are proud to celebrate the progress of our committed team members who have distinguished themselves through their dedication, pursuit of learning, active initiative and handling of complex projects.
