Under the generous patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of the King of the country and President of the Supreme Council for Women, and on the occasion of the national celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day, which falls on December 1st of each year, the Public Prosecution, with the participation of the Supreme Council for Women, and in cooperation with the Supreme Judicial Council, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the University of Bahrain, and the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies, organizes the forum “Bahraini Women in the Judicial and Legal Field: Excellence, Creativity, And innovation.”
This forum comes to embody an institutional extension of the process of women’s advancement in the judicial and legal field in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and reflects the royal trust in its role as an authentic partner in formulating decisions and building a modern justice system that consolidates the rule of law.
The organization of this forum reflects the commitment of the Public Prosecution and its partners to support the progress of Bahraini women and enhance their presence in the judicial and legal fields, in a manner that is in line with the priorities of the government’s work program (2023-2026), and reflects a national legal identity capable of development and influence, and raises the efficiency of judicial and legal institutions and the efficiency of judicial services provided in the Kingdom to all citizens and residents.
The forum reflects the national commitment to the advancement of women and enhancing their participation in all areas of development, especially in vital sectors such as justice and law, which represent the basis for building the modern state and consolidating the rule of law, and with the aim of highlighting Bahraini women’s leadership in law, consolidating judicial principles, protecting rights and freedoms, and promoting the digital transformation of justice and the governance of legal data.
The forum aims to highlight the achievements and innovations of Bahraini women in the judicial and legal field, highlight their pioneering role in developing the justice and law system, and enhance their position as an inspiring model in the legal field regionally and internationally. It also seeks to exchange the expertise and successful experiences of Bahraini women in the legal sector, and motivate the new generation of women to engage in the legal and judicial field.
The forum’s activities are scheduled to be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, with broad participation from judges, members of the Public Prosecution, and representatives of judicial, legal, and academic bodies and civil society institutions.
