Walid Salah El-Din, the club’s director of football, said Al-Ahly, His team is considered the strongest among the four teams participating in the Egyptian Super Championship, with full respect for the rest of the teams, noting that the players presented much better levels in the past matches despite the difficult circumstances that the club went through.

In statements to Abu Dhabi Sports Channel, Walid Salah Al-Din thanked all the players who did not participate in the last match, such as Imam Ashour and Afsha, stressing that everyone works in one spirit, and that any talk about problems within the team is baseless.
He added that the club went through difficult circumstances, especially after the defeat against Pyramids and the departure of Ribeiro, and it was necessary for Sayed Abdel Hafeez to be on the board of directors to compensate for the absence of the club president, praising his role and long history as football director: Sayed Abdel Hafeez is a dear brother and has made history in the position of football director after many legends, and I wish him success.
Walid Salah El-Din sent a message to Al-Ahly fans, saying: I hope the fans appreciate the players, because even if one of them appears at a lower level in a particular match, this generation is extremely oppressed and deserves full support.
He added that the team is working to maintain discipline and fighting spirit, and that the previous challenges polished the players and made them more ready for the upcoming matches, stressing that Al-Ahly is always capable of returning to the right path and achieving victories.
