The Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee in the House of Representatives approved the proposal with a desire to intensify security patrols on King Hamad Street at all times.
For their part, representatives of the Ministry of Interior explained, during their attendance at the committee meetings, that the General Traffic Department is making every effort in the streets and in monitoring the movement of cars.
They stated that finding alternative routes is within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Works, and not within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Interior. They stated that all trucks must stick to the right lane, noting that they are monitored by the General Traffic Department or private security cameras on the streets to monitor any wrong behavior.
