The National Housing and Building Research Center announced its need to appoint specialized engineers (architecture – civil – mechanical – electrical); To work in the green building evaluation and accreditation unit, within the framework of supporting the state’s efforts towards achieving sustainable urbanization, applying green building standards, and implementing the national strategy for urbanism and building.
Tasks and responsibilities
. Participate in technical evaluation and accreditation work for green building projects.
. Preparing studies and technical consultations in the fields of sustainable urbanization and green building.
. Contributing to the development of national assessment and accreditation tools and standards.
. Support training, awareness-raising activities and workshops related to urban sustainability.
. Participate in preparing guidelines and work guides for technical evaluation.
. Any other related work.
General conditions for applying
1- The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a grade of no less than good and no less than 3 years of experience.
2- Those who have the following qualifications and experience are preferred:
Professional certificates or training courses in the fields
Energy Auditing – Building Energy Simulation (GPRS – LEED-BREEAM – EDGE) – Energy efficiency in buildings or environmental simulation systems.
Sustainability management or environmental design.
3- Proficiency in using relevant engineering programs such as:
AutoCAD-Revit – SketchUp – DesignBuilder – QUEST, or equivalent.
4- Practical or research experience in one of the following fields is preferred:
. Evaluation and certification of green buildings
. Design or review sustainable projects.
5- Complete proficiency in using computers and programs for preparing technical reports and presentations.
6- The ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with government agencies and the private sector related to the areas of green construction.
7- Proficiency in English, reading, writing and speaking.
