The Central Bank of Egypt announced that Egypt’s net foreign exchange reserves rose to $50.071 billion last October, compared to $49.534 billion in September.

Central Bank: Foreign reserves increased to 50.07 billion US dollars at the end of October

This continued growth in international reserves is attributed to a significant improvement in the country’s foreign currency sources, including a surge in exports since the beginning of the year, an increase in tourism revenue flows, and an increase in remittances from Egyptians abroad.

Remittances from Egyptians working abroad witnessed a record growth of 47.2% during the first eight months of this year, recording $26.6 billion, compared to $18.1 billion in the same period last year.
