The executive authorities in Qalyubia Governorate, represented by the Ground Networks Center, were able to stop illegal excavation works on the Bridge Road next to Al-Shorouk Hospital – Basous Unit in Qanater Al-Khairiya, in implementation of the instructions of Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, and the directives of Engineer Yasser Marei, General Director of the Center.
A statement issued by the governorate, today, Sunday, explained that the drilling work was carried out without obtaining the necessary licenses, and was immediately stopped under the supervision of Engineer Dalia Hamdi, Director of the Banha Branch, and the leadership of Mr. Al-Rifai, Chief of Control at the Branch.
All violating works were identified, an official report was drawn up regarding the incident, the implementing authority was notified to take the necessary legal measures, and the technical permits required to complete the works began to be obtained legally.
The Ground Networks Center confirmed that it will deal with the utmost firmness with any party or individual who carries out excavation work without a prior permit, noting that the seizure teams work around the clock, including holidays, to detect any violations.
These measures come within the framework of Qalyubia Governorate’s ongoing efforts to maintain infrastructure and organize excavation work to ensure the safety of citizens and public facilities.
