The Ministry of Education and Technical Education directed the educational directorates in the governorates to raise the degree of readiness in the schools that have been designated as the headquarters of the electoral committees, and to fully coordinate with the concerned authorities to ensure the readiness of the schools to receive voters, as part of preparations for the launch of the first phase of the parliamentary elections.
The Ministry confirmed that students are granted official leave in schools where elections are held only during the voting days scheduled for the first stage, while the educational process continues normally in the remaining schools that are not designated as electoral committees.
The Ministry stressed the directors of educational directorates and departments to take the necessary measures to maintain the safety of school facilities and buildings, facilitate the task of the committees supervising the elections, and ensure the readiness of the facilities and services within the schools that will be used in the electoral process.
