Representative Dr. Mounir Sorour stressed the importance of effective dialogue and communication between family members, and working to achieve a balance between family and professional life, in preserving the family from disintegration and collapse, stressing the importance of the roles played by supportive socialization institutions in preserving the family entity, most notably the school.
This came on the sidelines of Dr. Sorour at the “Affection and Mercy” conference organized by the Batelco Center for Family Stability Foundation in cooperation with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, under the slogan “Family Identity in Light of Contemporary Challenges,” last week.
Representative Dr. pointed out Sorour highlighted the importance of the role played by the House of Representatives in preserving the family entity through legislating laws that protect the family and children, and combat violence and family disintegration.
He stressed the importance of supporting the family through continuous awareness and education of educational foundations and principles, whether by official institutions or civil organizations, praising the conference that emphasized the increasing need to confront intellectual challenges.
And the social one that affects the family entity.
The member of the House of Representatives praised the practical papers presented by researchers and specialists during the conference sessions, which reviewed social transformations and the psychological problems arising from them and ways to treat them, and the role of this in preserving societal cohesion.
