The Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Beni Suef Governorate announced that drinking water would be cut off from the Al-Zohour neighborhood in Beni Suef City, today, Saturday, from 12 am until 3 am, for a period of 3 continuous hours.

This comes within the framework of the company’s plan to carry out regular maintenance work and improve the efficiency of water networks, which includes installing a 12-inch diameter valve on the main line feeding the Al-Zohour area.
The company confirmed in its statement that these works come as part of its ongoing efforts to raise the efficiency of the service provided to citizens, and to ensure better regularity of water pumping after the completion of maintenance and development work, pointing out that the installation work aims to address some technical problems in the main line, and improve pressure levels within the network to better meet the needs of citizens.
The company appealed to citizens residing in the Al-Zohour neighborhood, as well as owners of shops, bakeries, and service establishments, to meet their drinking water needs during the outage period, to ensure that their daily activities are not affected.
The company explained that pure drinking water vehicles will be provided in the areas affected by the outage to meet the needs of citizens in case of necessity. The Beni Suef Water and Sanitation Company confirmed that it is working to complete the work on time, and to gradually return to pumping water immediately after the completion of the installation work, expressing its thanks for the cooperation of the citizens and their understanding of the importance of implementing these works, which mainly aim to improve the service and stabilize the water supply in the governorate.
