“Nasser Scientific and Technical” signs an agreement with the British “Crest” to enhance education and training in the field of cybersecurity

Nasser Scientific and Technical Center announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the British CREST Foundation, a leading global non-profit accreditation body in the field of cybersecurity, during the signing ceremony that took place between the two institutions, where the agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, CEO of the Center, and by Sebastian Madden, Chief Product Officer of the Foundation.

The signing took place on the sidelines of the activities of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition 2025, which is held under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain with the participation of an elite group of experts, specialists and decision-makers in the fields of cybersecurity and digital transformation.

Under this agreement, the Nasser Scientific and Technical Center will become a regional provider of internationally accredited “CREST” educational and training curricula in the field of accelerating the maturity of cyber capabilities among individuals and institutions, for the benefit of cybersecurity students and professionals in the technology sector, which contributes to the preparation of qualified national cadres capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in digital security, supporting the national strategy for cybersecurity and achieving the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 for safe and sustainable digital transformation.

On this occasion, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi stated that this cooperation comes within the framework of the Center’s efforts to strengthen international partnerships in the field of developing the education and technical training system, and to expand cooperation with global institutions specialized in developing digital skills, noting that the Center seeks to build an integrated educational and training system that is compatible with global trends on the one hand, and supplies the needs of the local and international labor market with qualified competencies in the fields of cybersecurity and digital protection, in accordance with the highest international standards.

For his part, Sebastian Madden expressed his pride in this partnership, saying: “We are pleased to cooperate with the Nasser Scientific and Technical Center, which is considered one of the leading institutions in technical education in the region. Through this partnership, we look forward to strengthening the cyber education and training system in the Kingdom of Bahrain, keeping pace with international standards and contributing to preparing a new generation of experts in this vital field.”

This agreement is considered a new strategic step within the endeavors of the Nasser Scientific and Technical Center to expand its network of international partnerships in the scientific and technical fields, and to consolidate the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a leading regional center in qualifying national competencies and developing cyber capabilities.
