Today, electricity was cut off in 18 areas in Suez and El-Ganain to conduct periodic maintenance

The Suez Electricity Sector announced that electricity will be cut off today, Saturday, from a number of areas within the Suez and El-Janain neighborhoods.

A statement issued by the Suez Electricity Sector stated that the electricity was cut off, to carry out the necessary periodic maintenance work to ensure the quality and continuity of electrical service to citizens.

The statement explained that the affected areas and periods: Port Tawfiq area and the free zone from 9 am to 12 noon, and includes the following areas:

Port Tawfiq Chalets – Rowing Club – Military Theater – Red Sea Ports Authority and nearby rest houses – Free Zone – Residences behind the Free Zone.

The statement indicated that electricity was cut off in the Kabrit area (supplying the chalets): from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and includes the following areas:

Kabrit Hospital – Martyr Muhammad Khater School – Abu Zeid School – Metwally Abu Hassan Farm – Al-Ghamri Farm – Jalal Hamid Farm – Al-Khawatra School – Al-Khawatra Post Office – Al-Khawatra Border Guard Area – Mansheyet Geneva School – Geneva Railway Station – Church of the Virgin in Geneva.

The electricity sector appealed to citizens and owners of establishments located within these areas to take the necessary precautions during the outage period, stressing that maintenance work comes within the framework of the sector’s keenness to improve the quality of service and the stability of the electrical current.
