His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, was at the forefront of receiving His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim bin the late Sultan Iskandar, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Malaysia, and the accompanying delegation, upon his arrival in the country today on a state visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Also at the reception were His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, and a number of Their Highnesses, Excellencies and Excellencies.
After that, the country’s distinguished guest shook hands with senior officials from the Bahraini side, and His Majesty the King also shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying His Majesty the King of the sisterly Kingdom of Malaysia.

After that, His Majesty the King of Malaysia held an official reception ceremony, and the musical band played the Malaysian Royal and Bahraini Royal Anthems, and artillery fired twenty-one rounds in salute to the honorable guest presenter.
