Today, the National Elections Authority held a press conference to follow up on the progress of the voting process for Egyptians abroad in the 2025 House of Representatives elections.
Counselor Ahmed Bandari, Executive Director of the Authority, confirmed that the Authority communicates around the clock with Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad to follow up on the voting process and ensure its regularity in various countries.

Bandari explained that 105 electoral headquarters were opened in embassies and consulates in the first phase, to receive Egyptians residing abroad and casting their votes, stressing that the process is proceeding in an orderly manner amid full cooperation and coordination between the authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noteworthy that the elections for the House of Representatives are held in two stages, in which 2,598 candidates compete in the individual system, and 4 lists in the closed list system. Voting in the first round of the first stage will take place on November 7 and 8 abroad, and at home on November 10 and 11, with the official result announced on November 18. The runoff will be held abroad on December 1 and 2, and inside on December 3 and 4, and the result of the runoff will be announced on December 11 of next year.
