The first passenger flight within the maritime link project between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar has arrived. This is a prominent step that culminates in a series of meetings, trial visits and joint preparations between the two sides, within the framework of continuous coordination in preparation for operating the sea line and enhancing cooperation in the transport sector between the two brotherly countries.
The project will begin operating in its first phase with the transport of passengers and goods, and will be developed later to include the transport of cars and containers through specialized transport companies from both parties, in a way that enhances the movement of trade and tourism, and facilitates the movement of individuals.
It is expected that this new sea line will contribute to increasing the volume of trade and tourism exchange between Bahrain and Qatar, and reducing the time and distance between them, in addition to its role in consolidating economic and social ties and opening promising horizons for the transport and logistics sector in the region.
