Director Karim El-Shenawy revealed the details of changing the ending of his new film, The Best Gentlemen, which is currently showing in cinemas and has achieved great success since its inception.
Karim El-Shenawy said, in statements on Nojoom FM radio: The ending of the film The Best Gentlemen changed because we were different and the censorship objected to it, but we did not fight the censorship battle even though I love it very much, and every time I say, Oh Lord, the censorship will be cancelled, and this has nothing to do with Abdel Rahim Kamal, and he may have the same wish.

The film is now showing in cinemas in Egypt, and was released in the Arab world on October 30. The events of the film revolve in an Egyptian village, around the Abu al-Fadl family, which is shaken by the death of the father, Jalal. His two sons, Tariq, who is forced to bear responsibility for the family, and Hegazy, the doctor returning from Cairo, soon discover that their father was not the simple man they knew, as it becomes clear that Jalal was involved in the antiquities trade and had a complex network of secrets and debts that threatened to tear the family apart and involve it in conflicts.
