They will be received by Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, and a number of executive, popular and religious leaders in the governorate.
This visit comes within the framework of the governorate’s celebrations of the National Day of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate and the birth of the Knower of God, Sidi Ibrahim Al-Desouki, one of God’s righteous saints, and the Ministry of Endowments’ keenness to participate in major religious events that highlight the moderation and tolerance of Islam.
The visit will also witness an expanded meeting with the imams of the endowments and leaders of advocacy in the governorate to follow up on efforts to spread moderate thought and confront extremist thought.
Last week, the city of Desouq in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate witnessed the Sufi orders’ celebrations of the birth of Desouqi, in the presence of tens of thousands. The people also listened to religious evenings by Sheikh Yassin El-Tohamy and his son Mahmoud over two consecutive days.
