Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, met with Maroš Šefčovič, the European Union Commissioner for Trade, Economic Security, Institutional Relations and Transparency, on the sidelines of the ninth Gulf-European Economic Forum.
During the meeting, several economic and trade topics were discussed, and ways to enhance Gulf-European relations in areas and priorities of common interest.
The two sides affirmed their aspiration to strengthen relations and build many partnerships in various fields between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union.
