One of the artist’s companions, Ismail Al-Laithi, revealed new details about the horrific accident that occurred yesterday evening on the Old Army Road in the Mallawi center in Minya Governorate, and resulted in the death of 3 people and the injury of 7 others, including the popular singer Ismail Al-Laithi and a number of members of his band.

One of the artist’s companions said in statements to the Cairo 24 website correspondent in front of Mallawi Specialized Hospital: “I received a call from Al-Laithi’s brother stating that an accident had occurred with the artist Ismail Al-Laithi, so I quickly came to the hospital, and thank God I reassured him. His condition is relatively stable, and there are some injuries among the band members, but they are minor, and they are all receiving medical care.”
One of the artist’s companions added that the deaths were not from the artist’s team, Al-Laithi, explaining that the victims were from the second car that collided with the artist’s car while it was driving on the road, indicating that the accident resulted from a direct collision between the two cars, which led to the two cars being completely destroyed.
The attendant confirmed that the artist Ismail Al-Laithi was transferred to intensive care as a result of being in a temporary coma and bleeding from the nose and mouth following the accident, calling on his fans to pray for his speedy recovery.
