A renewed evening full of excitement, fun and enthusiasm awaits horse racing fans on the second evening of the 2025-2026 racing season. The cups of the Gulf Petrochemical Manufacturing Company (GPIC) and the late Abdul Hadi Al-Afoo Cup will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club track in Al-Raffah. The public is anticipating a new exciting evening that combines challenge and enthusiasm with the strength and excitement of horse competitions in The race track, the fun of the entertainment events and the distinctive atmosphere witnessed in the evenings of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club races, especially after the strong start in the opening race, which witnessed varying results and victories shared by the horses of the various stables. The second race will witness strong competition between the participating horses during the nine rounds, the strongest of which is in the cup rounds between the horses produced by Bahrain and the imported horses, where the competitions will be equal due to the close levels of competition. Fifth round: for “imported” balance racing horses, a distance of 1800 metres. Sixth round: for “imported” balance race horses, a distance of 1600 metres. Seventh round: Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company Cup “GPIC” for balance racing horses “Imported” for a distance of 2200 metres, and it is expected to witness an exciting struggle between the six participating horses that will compete to win the Cup for the round. Eighth half: for horses of all grades “Bahrain Production” for a distance of 2200 metres. The ninth and final half: Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company Cup “GPIC” for balance racing horses “Bahrain Production” for a distance of 1200 straight meters, and is expected to witness a strong and open competition between the ten horses to win the main race cup and the most prominent candidates are the horses “The Blue Lady, Strictly”.
