The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Tenders and Auctions Board held its third regular meeting for the current year, headed by Engineer Rima Issa Al-Saffar, Director of the Technical Evaluation Department and Chairman of the Committee. During the meeting, the Committee reviewed the most prominent programs and initiatives that have been accomplished within the approved operational plan, which aims to establish the principle of equal opportunities between the sexes in the work environment, and enhance women’s participation in the various areas of the Council’s work, in line with the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women. (2025-2026). The committee stressed the continuation of work to implement the approved initiatives and follow up on the implementation of policies that support equality and equal opportunities, in order to achieve the objectives of the Tenders and Auctions Board in promoting a fair and stimulating work environment that ensures the effective participation of all male and female employees.
