Counselor Essam Farid, President of the Senate, received in his office today, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority.
The President of the Senate receives the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority
At the beginning of the meeting, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie congratulated Counselor Issam Farid on his assumption of the presidency of the Senate, stressing that this selection reflects the amount of trust placed in him by the members of the esteemed Senate, wishing him and the members of the Senate success in performing their national duties in the interest of the nation and the citizens.
For his part, Counselor Essam Farid expressed his great happiness and gratitude for this dear congratulation, praising the pioneering national and development projects undertaken by the Suez Canal Authority, and affirming the Council’s readiness to fully cooperate with the Authority in order to achieve the common good of the nation and citizens.
The meeting was attended by Major General Ahmed Al-Awadi, Counselor Fares Saad, representatives of the Council, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Ghani, Secretary-General of the Senate, and Counselor Amr Yousry, legal advisor to the Speaker of the Senate.
