In a humanitarian situation that embodies the meanings of honesty and authentic education, the student Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Ramadan, a student in the fifth grade of primary school in the village of Meet Assem, affiliated with the Benha Center, said in exclusive statements to “Cairo 24” that he found a golden ring during his return from school, and returned it to its owner without any financial compensation.
Ahmed explained: “I was coming out of school with my friends, and I found a gold ring in the shape of a rose. I took it and gave it to my mother and father,” noting that his parents informed the village mosque to announce that a missing gold piece had been found.
His mother added that she contacted one of the officials of the village group on social media, and a post was published stating that the ring had been found. The next day, the owner of the ring contacted and described it accurately. The family went to her home and handed it over to her, and they refused to receive any compensation, stressing that “a prayer for goodness is enough for us.”
For his part, the director of Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Primary School praised the student’s honesty, stressing that Ahmed is known among his colleagues and teachers for his good behavior and his keenness to return anything he finds, even if it is a pen or ruler, inside the school.
