The local unit of Nasser Center and City, headed by Shawqi Hashem, launched an intensive ration campaign on municipal bakeries and markets, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, to control the ration system and ensure that bakeries adhere to legal specifications and scales.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of 18 various reports, which included violations of the handling of 11 bags of subsidized local flour, the production of bread that did not meet specifications, the absence of a bakery operating list, the lack of clean dough tools, the failure to provide a dispensing container, and the lack of a sensitive scale.
10 bags of subsidized local flour were also seized before being sold on the black market, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the violators.
These efforts come within the framework of the governorate’s plan to intensify ration control and control markets, in order to preserve the rights of citizens and ensure that support reaches those who deserve it.
