The National Cybersecurity Council signs a number of partnership agreements in conjunction with the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition.

Coinciding with the launch of the activities of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition, which is being held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and in strategic partnership with the DEF CON global conference, during the period from 5 to 6 November this year, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, the National Center for Cybersecurity announced the signing of a number of partnership agreements with local and international companies, as part of the center’s efforts to strengthen the cybersecurity system and exchange experiences and advanced technologies in this field. The first partnership agreement came between the National Center for Cybersecurity and Kanoo Information Technology Company, which includes cooperation in the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition. The agreement includes organizing and presenting a two-day cybersecurity awareness training program in cooperation with EC-Council and Gulf IT Network Distribution, with the aim of enhancing participants’ awareness and providing them with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to confront cyber threats.

The second agreement was signed with Paramount, the leading provider of cybersecurity solutions in the Middle East, to provide world-class training in the field of MITER D3FEND cybersecurity. This partnership aims to strengthen regional cyber defense capabilities through specialized education, professional certifications, and capacity building initiatives.

The third agreement was signed with Immersive Labs Limited, where the company will participate in organizing interactive workshops and simulation exercises for cyber crises for executive and technical categories, in addition to school students participating in the conference activities. During the signing of the agreement, both parties stressed their common interest in supporting the cybersecurity system in the Kingdom through training, capacity building, and knowledge exchange during the conference.

On this occasion, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdul Wahhab Al Khalifa, Executive Vice President of Cyber ​​Operations at the National Cyber ​​Security Center, stressed the importance of strengthening the cyber security system in the Kingdom of Bahrain through signing cooperation agreements and initiatives that support building national capabilities and developing competencies.

He explained that signing these partnerships with leading national and international technology companies reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing international cooperation and exchanging experiences, and enhances the provision of advanced training programs that raise the level of national competencies, and supports the Kingdom’s cyber readiness to face the accelerating challenges.
