Lawyer Rabie Al-Khalaili said that the investigating authorities decided to refer 3 female students to criminal trial, against the backdrop of their involvement in the brawl incident that took place at an international school in the Fifth Settlement area, known in the media as the Capital School brawl.

Rabih Al-Khalaili continued that investigations revealed that the accused women – including the student Rawiya – participated in the assault and beating of their colleague inside the school, causing her to suffer various injuries, amid a state of chaos inside the school campus, which was documented by video clips that spread on social media sites.
Earlier, the forensic consultant’s report revealed that the student Karma suffers from a fracture of the nasal bones resulting from the assault incident that she was exposed to, in addition to obstruction of breathing, a deviated nasal septum, and a slight deformity in the external shape of the nose.
He pointed out that the victim needed surgical intervention after reaching the age of 16, which confirms the seriousness of the injuries she sustained, adding that forensic medicine requested an x-ray of the nasal bones before the accident occurred, if any, to determine whether the incident caused permanent disability or not.
