The Royal Medical Services celebrated the Military Hospital and King Hamad University Hospital receiving the Diamond Accreditation Certificate from the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), an achievement that reflects a firm commitment to the highest standards of quality and excellence in providing health care.
Two events were organized on this occasion in both the Military Hospital and King Hamad University Hospital, to celebrate this prestigious achievement and to honor the medical and administrative staff who contributed to its achievement.
The celebrations witnessed the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Physician Sheikh Fahd bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services, who expressed his pride in this achievement, stressing that it reflects continuous efforts to improve the health care system and enhance the confidence of patients and society.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHARA), congratulated the management and employees of the Military Hospital and King Hamad University Hospital, praising the qualitative development witnessed by the two hospitals in applying quality standards and best international practices in providing health care.
On the other hand, His Excellency Brigadier General Muhammad Ahmed, Technical Assistant to the Commander of the Royal Medical Services and Acting Director of the Military Hospital, confirmed that the Military Hospital’s obtaining the diamond accreditation constitutes an important step that reflects the hospital’s commitment to quality and patient safety policies, praising the role of the medical and administrative staff and their efforts to achieve advanced levels of professional performance and distinguished health care.
His Excellency Colonel Doctor Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Commander of King Hamad University Hospital, also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made to achieve this diamond accreditation, stressing that it represents the culmination of a process of hard work and commitment to standards of quality and excellence.
The Military Hospital and King Hamad University Hospital’s obtaining the diamond accreditation from “Nahra” comes as a consolidation of the position of the Royal Medical Services as a leading national health institution that enhances the process of excellence and innovation in its various health facilities.
