Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, announced a new achievement in recovering state lands and confronting encroachments on agricultural land, revealing the success of the executive agencies in recovering a total area of 4,168 square meters of illegal buildings, in addition to 84 acres and one karat of agricultural land.
84 acres recovered during the implementation of 55 removal decisions
This came after the implementation of 55 decisions to remove encroachments as part of the work of the third phase of wave 27, stressing that these efforts come within the framework of the directives of the political leadership and decisions of the Council of Ministers that aim to preserve agricultural lands, address the phenomenon of random construction, and recover state property.
The governor explained that the removal campaigns included six centers: Al-Badari, Al-Qusiya, Sahel Selim, Manfalut, Al-Fath, and Sidfa, in addition to the eastern neighborhood of Assiut, where they were implemented in close cooperation between the heads of local units, state authorities, and the State Lands Recovery Committee, and with the active participation of the security services.
The governor pointed out that the governorate’s operations room is working around the clock, in full coordination with the removals follow-up unit of the State Property Administration and the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network, to ensure decisive and accurate implementation, with the use of center and district equipment. In detail, the campaigns included the removal of 5 cases of spatial changes in the Badari center, 24 cases encroaching on the lands of the Egyptian countryside and the National Media Authority in the Qusia center, and 15 cases encroaching on the lands of the agricultural reform in the Sahel Selim center, in addition to 3 cases encroaching on lands of the Egyptian countryside and the National Media Authority in the Qusia center. In the center of Manfalut, and 6 cases of encroachment on agricultural and agricultural reform lands in the center of Al-Fath, in addition to one case of spatial variables in the center of Sidfa and another in the Sharq neighborhood.
Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr confirmed that these campaigns will continue strictly and firmly in all centers and villages according to the specified timetable, in implementation of the state’s plan to recover all its lands and deter violators, calling on citizens to cooperate and immediately report any cases of trespass or building violations via the hotline 114 or the numbers of the governorate’s operations room designated for that purpose, or through the unified government complaints system.
