Today, Friday, the activities of the second and final day of Al-Ahly’s regular general assembly will be held, in order to elect a new board of directors to lead the Red Castle, for a new term.
Al-Ahly Club opens its doors at exactly nine o’clock this morning, Friday, in order to receive members to register for the club’s ordinary general assembly, at the top of the agenda is the election of the new board of directors.
Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s list tops the Al-Ahly elections in the new session, as only one over-age candidate ran for office, far from the list of the current president of the Red Castle.
Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s list includes: Yassin Mansour, vice president of the club, Khaled Murtaji, club treasurer, in addition to Muhammad Al-Jarhi and Muhammad Al-Ghazawi, along with Muhammad Al-Damati, Hazem Hilal, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, and Ahmed Hossam Awad in the over-age membership seat.
While: Ibrahim Al-Amri Farouk and Rowaida Hisham are on underage seats on Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s list.
While Hassan Tantawi is running independently for over-age council membership, outside Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s list, he is the only candidate who continued the electoral race and refused to withdraw his candidacy papers.
Al-Ahly Club reviewed all arrangements for holding the General Assembly scheduled for Friday, October 31, which will witness the holding of elections for a new board of directors that will lead the club during the next four years, as it was agreed with the competent administrative authority that the elections will be held under full judicial supervision of the voting process.
