A young man was seriously injured in the hands and some wounds in the head and face as a result of a quarrel that broke out between him and one of his neighbors in the village of Nawa, affiliated with the Shebin al-Qanater center in Qalyubia Governorate, due to previous disputes between the two parties, after which the accused assaulted the victim with a machete.
Major General Ashraf Gaballah, Director of Qalyubia Security, received a notification from Major General Mohamed Al-Sayed, Director of the General Department of Qalyubia Investigations, stating that a quarrel had occurred and that injured people had occurred in the village of Nawa in the Shebin Al-Qanater Center district.

The security services moved to the site of the report, and the examination revealed that the young man, Muhammad Ahmed, was severely injured in the hands, head, and face. He was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, and it was also found that the other party in the incident was injured.
Investigations revealed that the two parties are neighbors, and that old disputes had previously broken out between them, as a result of which the quarrel was renewed. One of them assaulted the other using a machete, which resulted in his injury. He was taken to the hospital, provided the necessary services, and was released from there.
A report was filed on the incident, and the relevant authorities took over the investigation.
