During the recent period, the Red Sea ports witnessed remarkable activity in the movement of goods and ships, as they received 16 thousand tons of goods and 811 various trucks. These activities reflect the efficiency of logistical operations in the ports, and contribute to strengthening the local economy by facilitating the movement of trade and navigation, which provides job opportunities and supports growth in the entire region.
The total number of ships accumulated on the docks reached 10 ships, with active transport movement recorded, as trading operations were divided between imports and exports. The import movement included 5 thousand tons of goods, in addition to 365 trucks and 121 cars, while exports represented 11 thousand tons, 446 trucks and 59 cars, which reflects a balance in commercial operations.
Regarding navigation traffic, Safaga Port is preparing to receive the two ships Poseidon Express and Al Hurriya 2, while the Alcudia Express will depart. During the previous days, the port witnessed the arrival of many ships, as Nuweiba Port recorded the handling of 4,100 tons of goods and 287 trucks, thanks to continuous trips by about three ships, which enhances the effectiveness of the navigation network in the region.
The number of passengers departing and arriving through the Red Sea ports has reached 1,200 passengers, which reflects the increasing tourism and economic activity, and all operations are conducted in an organized manner to ensure the provision of high-quality services.
