Dr. Al-Tayeb Abbas, CEO of the Museum Authority, confirmed that organizing the Civilization and Peoples event comes within the framework of the Museum’s keenness to support Egyptian cultural identity and introduce its richness to the world, noting that intangible heritage represents one of the most important components of the national character and a source of creative inspiration.

He added that Egyptian civilization was and continues to be a source of inspiration for all peoples, and that celebrating intangible heritage represents a message of peace and communication between nations, reflecting the depth of human understanding and the diversity of cultural expressions. We are proud that the National Museum of Civilization is a platform that brings together global creativity in the land of Egyptian civilization.

The event included a number of distinctive activities and performances, combining culture, creativity, culinary arts, and traditional crafts.

The activities of the Creative Chefs Forum were launched in its third edition with the participation of about 30 countries and 150 international chefs, where live performances of culinary arts were presented from various parts of the world in a festive atmosphere that reflected the ancient Egyptian civilization and the spirit of global hospitality.

The forum witnessed for the first time the participation of a team of people of determination in live cooking shows, in a distinctive initiative that reflects inclusion and equality in creative work. The forum also carried a sublime message aimed at promoting Egypt as a tourist and cultural destination through international cuisine and the arts of hospitality.
