Taha Ezzat, Chairman of the Competitions Committee of the Club Association, confirmed that he has not yet received any proposals from Captain Helmy Toulan regarding the team’s preparations for the Arab Cup.

Taha Ezzat said in television statements: I do not know who received the team’s preparations plan from Captain Toulan, if he actually did so according to his statements, but so far I have not received any official details.
Taha Ezzat added: We aim for a regular league that takes into account the interests of the national teams, especially since the league must end before mid-May in preparation for the World Cup.
The Chairman of the Competitions Committee explained that there are precise calculations related to postponing matches, noting that any postponement was made in accordance with the schedule of participation in foreign tournaments and the international agenda, stressing at the conclusion of his statements that determining the clubs’ external participation should have been done before setting the competition schedule to ensure the regularity of the tournament.
Earlier, Helmy Tolan, the coach of the Egyptian national team participating in the Arab Cup, revealed a big surprise before the start of the final preparations before participating in the tournament held in Qatar.
Helmy Tolan said in statements with the journalist Ibrahim Fayek: There is a lack of respect and lack of interest in this team on the part of the association to which we submitted our special program in its entirety, and it is supposed to take into account the team participating in the name of Egypt, and the leagues at the world level are only a tool for the teams, and the teams represent a country, and the primary interest and care is supposed to be for the teams.
