The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture revealed that the approved Arad Plan No. 242 cannot be frozen, given that it was officially approved in accordance with Resolution No. 619 of 2025 and published in the Official Gazette No. 3817 on June 19, 2025, after presentation to the Municipal Council of Muharraq Municipality and approval of the Supreme Committee for Urban Planning.
In its response to the Muharraq Municipal Council, the Ministry added that all residents’ comments and complaints related to the plan’s components and existing services can be addressed in accordance with the applicable legal procedures, by applying the provisions of the Real Estate Acquisition Law for Public Benefit, or by following re-planning procedures whenever necessary.
