Israeli Channel 12 reported that the Israeli occupation government gave Hamas until Monday evening to locate the bodies of the prisoners.
Return the bodies of prisoners
In statements yesterday, the head of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, said in television statements that the factions handed over 20 captured occupation soldiers, whether in service or reserve, 72 hours after the start of the ceasefire, and we committed to that.
Al-Hayya added that there are problems in searching for the bodies of prisoners of the occupation, because the Israeli occupation changed the nature of the land of Gaza, and even some of those who buried these bodies were martyred, or no longer know where they were buried. Despite all that, so far 17 bodies have been handed over to the Israeli occupation out of 28 bodies, and 13 bodies remain from the list provided by the occupation.
Al-Hayya continued: There was an agreement that equipment would enter from the Egyptian side, and that search locations would be identified, and this was done. Two days ago, new locations were identified to search for bodies, and I believe that tomorrow these areas, some of which are located within the red zone in which the occupation is located, will be entered tomorrow, under the auspices of the Red Cross.
He pointed out that there is a seriousness and decision on the part of Hamas and the resistance that we will not keep any of these bodies, and we will discuss them with all seriousness and responsibility, and the occupation must not use this flimsy pretext to continue the pain of the Palestinian people.
