The McLaren Team, owned by Mumtalakat Holding Company, the sovereign fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain, strengthened its prominent presence in the Formula 1 World Championship, with a remarkable victory in the Mexican Grand Prix, which was hosted by the Hermanos Rodriguez Circuit in Mexico City.

British McLaren driver Lando Norris, who dominated the race during the race, won first place, ahead of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc by 30.324 seconds, while Red Bull driver Max Verstappen came in third place.

With this achievement, the McLaren team maintained its lead in the overall drivers’ standings with 357 points for Lando Norris, one point ahead of his teammate Oscar Piastri, who is in second place with 356 points, confirming the team’s control over the course of the season.

It is noteworthy that the McLaren team won the Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship for the 2025 season for the second time in a row during the Singapore Grand Prix on the Marina Bay street circuit, six rounds before the end of the current season.

These results confirm the position of the McLaren team as one of the most prominent sports investments in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and highlight Mumtalakat Holding Company’s commitment to supporting global sports and consolidating the Kingdom of Bahrain’s presence on the international sports scene.
