The swimming competitions within the Asian Youth Games will begin tomorrow, Monday, at the Khalifa Sports City Swimming Pool, from ten in the morning until seven in the evening, where the opening day will witness the holding of 10 coronation ceremonies in various races, with wide participation from the rising champions of the continent. In a historic event for the Games, the camel racing competitions mark their first start in the history of the Asian Games, where the individual races for men and women are held over a distance of 500 meters in The Bahrain International Endurance Village, in a step that reflects the tournament’s keenness to integrate traditional sports into the continental agenda. At the same time, the badminton competitions begin in Hall (D) in Isa Sports City with the 64th round of the singles and doubles competitions, with the participation of the most prominent young Asian talents, amid public anticipation to follow the technical performance and high levels of competitiveness.
