The Ministry of Endowments announced the launch of the Noble Imams Competition, the Imams League, in all Endowments directorates, nationwide, as part of its scientific and advocacy efforts aimed at implementing the axes of its advocacy plan, continuing to confront terrorism and intellectual extremism, both religious and non-religious, and working to restore and build the Egyptian national character on solid religious and civilizational foundations.
The competition aims to maximize the amount of knowledge, discovery, and scientific and cognitive creativity of imams, and to highlight distinguished models in the Islamic and Arabic sciences and the reality of advocacy, as each administration is obligated to form a team of (10) imams from among its most competent scholars to participate in a scientific league held at the departmental level within each directorate, under the supervision of a distinguished scientific committee formed by the director of the directorate, leading to the selection of the best team that represents the directorate in the final elimination. At the republic level.
The preliminary qualifiers within the directorates will continue for a month from the start date, provided that the Ministry is provided with the names of the ten most competent imams representing each directorate in the final competition, which includes (270) imams from (27) directorates. Endowments launches the Al-Nujaba Imams Competition, Imams League, in all districts
The Ministry allocated lucrative financial prizes to the winners as follows:
-First Team: (League Champion): A reward of (100,000) pounds.
-The second team: a reward of (70,000) pounds.
-The third team: a reward of (50,000) pounds.
The directorates to which the winning teams are affiliated also grant financial rewards as follows:
-The directorate to which the first team belongs: (100,000) pounds.
-The directorate to which the second team belongs: (50,000) pounds.
-The directorate to which the third team belongs: (25,000) pounds.
This competition comes within the Ministry of Endowments’ plan to encourage honorable academic competition among imams, and motivate them to be more creative and distinguished in performing their preaching message, thus contributing to building enlightened awareness and a cohesive, upscale society. He appreciates the value of the country and elevates its status through knowledge and work.
