Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, continues to provide emergency and medical services to those injured in the collision that occurred this evening, Saturday, on the (Cairo – Suez) road in the Badr Police Department, heading towards Cairo.
Raising the state of readiness in hospitals in the cities of Badr, Al-Shorouk, and the surrounding areas
The Ambulance Authority announced the dispatch of 28 equipped ambulances immediately after receiving the report of a collision between a number of cars. Initial reports from the accident site indicated that 38 injured people were transferred to Badr University Hospital, in addition to 3 cases being transferred to Al-Shorouk Hospital, while the accident resulted in the death of two citizens, and follow-up is underway.
The Ministry confirmed that the state of preparedness has been raised in hospitals in the cities of Badr, Al-Shorouk, and the surrounding areas, with rapid support teams on readiness to provide emergency medical services, confirming the availability of all medicines, medical supplies, and blood bags from various factions, and continuous follow-up through the Crisis and Emergency Room at the Ministry’s General Office in the Administrative Capital.
